  1. Whilst I like the article and you have written it well I don’t believe your choice of Machu Picchu, PERU is a sensible one for a family travel destination. You give no idea of the difficulties in getting there, the facilities when you are there and all the rest that a family needs. I hate being critical, but don’t you think some discussion of the age of kids who are after all part of the family, who might be up to such a trip.

    • Yes, you’re right, only half, Ian. But when I wrote the article I thought this is an amazing destination, where you can learn important things about world history. If children have at least 15 years, I think it’s not a problem to take them in the journey. However, there are different opinions. Maybe someone will like the idea of ​​seeing Machu Picchu with the family.
