Originally built in 1928 at 600 Carondelet, the beautiful nine-story Art Deco structure served as the home to Barnett’s Furniture Store – the first local importer of Scandinavian Modern furniture in New Orleans. The furniture store operated until the mid-1970s, but the Ace Hotel did not begin operation until March 2016. Yet, when it did, Ace Hotel New Orleans opened with a style and flair that sought to accentuate the vibe and free spirit of New Orleans.

With its well-appointed rooms draped in velvet. wood, and leather and accented with Roman and Williams Lighting, the bespoke furniture and well-thought-out mini-bar will evoke a sense of style and relaxation you can only find in New Orleans.

With six room options, the Ace Hotel has something for every traveler. From the Medium Room with its stylish leather window seats to the Ace Suites with their two-story living spaces, eclectic decadence is the repeating theme reflected in every corner of the rooms and public spaces. All rooms have a flat screen television, fully stocked minibar and Smeg refrigerators, Tivoli Radio, free Wi-Fi, Rudy’s toiletries, and Pearl+ soaps. If that does not seem like enough, some suites and all Ace Suites have turntables and a Martin acoustic guitar for your entertainment pleasure.
